Products Registrations and Quality Inspections
(Ports/Imports)

1 - Montaji

“Montaji” is an initiative to register consumer products by Dubai Municipality. “Montaji” enables consumers to confirm the information and safety of all consumer products (cosmetics, perfumes, supplements, detergents and biocides) available in the country’s markets. It requires both local importers and manufacturers to register their products to ensure compliance with local requirements and consumer satisfaction.

2. ECAS

ECAS is a product certification system for certain government-regulated products. Under this system, all regulated products must meet the safety and quality requirements specified in the technical regulations approved by the UAE government. Suppliers must also register the products and obtain a certificate of conformity in advance to sell them within the country. ECAS is one of the documents required when clearing shipments from ports and customs.

3. EQM

It is an indication of conformity awarded to manufacturers who meet the quality requirements of the United Arab Emirates. EQM ensures that the quality of the products is in accordance with the needs of the country. Bottled drinking water, juices and dairy products are among the products that are required to obtain the Emirates Quality Mark. Al Jeon team provides consulting services to support you in complying with the requirements of the Emirates Quality Mark until the issuance of the required certificate.

4. SASO / SABER

The Saudi government and related authorities have set some regulatory standards to ensure that products imported from different industries around the world meet safety and quality standards. at Al Jeon, we fully understand the technical aspects of this procedure. Civil Defence Requirements

To start any engineering project or business in Abu Dhabi, the General Command of Civil Defence requires several no-objection certificates and approvals that contain a set of accurate drawings and other requirements, which could be disturbing to some. MCC/CCTV Requirement

The establishment of the Monitoring and Control Centre was announced in 2011, and in 2019 the Centre joined the organizational structure of the Supreme Council for National Security pursuant to Federal Decree-Law No. (20) of 2019. With the aim of managing, regulating, and using systems of monitoring and control devices in places, vital facilities, and public facilities and the analysis of the data provided by the devices, in order to reduce the occurrence of crimes, detect their perpetrators, and maintain security and public order, as well as the continuation of the work of follow-up and control systems and devices, their integration, and interdependence with other follow-up systems and devices.
